So many pictures to share from the last month and a half. Here goes....

A B-17 from WWII visited our airport for a few days. They gave tours of the inside and we thought the boys would enjoy it. And they did!

Mark randomly taking pictures, but Charlie was caught. "Whats in here that I can get into?" And he was so helpful to rearrange everything in that cabinet.

Mark blew the leaves off the roof and it made a HUGE pile. The boys LOVED it!

Big boxes are so much fun!

Its been a month since the last post and I have a few pictures to share. The boys are growing so quickly and are so much fun. Challenging on some days, but I am so blessed to be their momma.

Charlie is saying "cheese" for the camera. He has been saying a lot of new words lately. And he picks up on baby signs super quick.
He has recently started building towers. And he tries to build them as tall as possible, but when it falls for whatever reason (poor base, bad construction, brotherly interferance), he gets pretty upset. He is so focused that its hard to distract him from whatever it is that he wants or is doing. Charlie - one of a kind!

Jack's imagination is taking off! Here he used a horse from a baby mobile and attached it to a truck trailer. His man is taking a wagon ride. He did this all on his own!

Pears, pears, and more pears. And I don't even like them! But Mark and the boys do, so it was a blessing to get them. We canned them and made pear butter. They were from a friend's tree who did not want them.

Jack's first dentist visit - he did great! If you are wondering, he is staring at a television. The hygenist did a great job and we enjoyed meeting the Sugar Bug (stuffed monster).

"I do it by myself" is his new phrase. Getting water from the sink, going to the bathroom, putting on his shoes and hopefully more to come.

Charlie, being his adventerous self, discovered a way to turn on the radio on the clock. He actually gets up and down pretty gracefully. And at this point you are probably wondering if I ever dress these fellows. Well, only if we're going out! haha! With diaper changes and underwear accidents, who has time to deal with pants!

More Summer Fun

Charlie found these sunglasses and was having a good time with them.

Jack had to try them too!

Mark's parents took the boys on an overnight trip and they let us tag along as well. We stayed at a ranch bed and breakfast and they had many farm animals. Here is one smelly pink pig!

And Jack got to ride this horse around an arena for a while. Charlie got to ride w/ Mark for a few minutes but I didn't have my camera at the time.

Our chickens are now giving us some eggs. Here is a picture of our very first egg! And the white thing is a golf ball - an effort to show the chickens where to lay. We were very excited! Now we're getting 2 a day.
The boys were proud too!


Charlie likes to lay on the floor like this. I'm not sure why he does this, but usually it ends w/ a tickling session.

Jack dressed to go back to the time when the apostle Paul was under house arrest in Rome. This was our theme for Vacation Bible School. It was awesome! Jack had a good time but he was worn out by the last day!

100 Degree Heat

It is HOT outside! So, how do you play golf when it gets 98 degrees? Go really early. And since our boys awake at dawn, this is no problem! We really enjoy riding in the cart while Mark plays 9 holes.....

As much as he likes riding in the cart, Jack also enjoys running behind it. He said "You pick me up." Go for it, kid! We had to make sure we stayed far enough ahead of him so he wouldn't grab the cart or bag, which might result in a concrete face-plant.

Freshly mowed and watered grass. Charlie had a good time too! Squirrel chasing - that's another activity that intrigues small children on the golf coarse.

Oh, the thrill of the Dollar Store. Jack got to pick out one toy and he chose police dress-up gear. Spring loaded gun, bullet-proof vest, sunglasses, badge, handcuffs w/ keys, and radio. He has been "apprehending suspects". Try to get a three year old to say that, its funny!

10-4, I'm out.

Ice Cream Indulgence

This is for you, Mark! (a day early)

We had ice cream for dessert tonight and Mark wanted to capture the difference in how our two sons eat it. "Cheese!"

Clean as can be! He really doesn't like to be messy.
